An update, passport has left Singapore VO today, on its way to Vietnam now. Hopefully she will get the visa before or on Friday because we're planning on going through a travel agent to buy her ticket home the very same day she gets the visa.

Singapore had received my file on Mar 2013.

My wife Received interview letter on Feb. 2014.

Now waiting for the interview date.

is there anyone from Bangladesh, also waiting for interview, Any idea when it can be?

I think it will be earlier for the following 2 reasons:


A. Currently number of applicants has gone down in SVO, so time is taking less for the people to get visa without interview. As such the VO will be more free to go to Dhaka for taking interview which is generally held between Feb - March. We pray for that too.

B. Please carefully read the message Mikemayke and we get in VFS websites when our visas reached to our respective countries. In my case message states that visa was dispatched from Vias prcessing centre, Dhaka whereas mikemayke case states the Visa processing centre, Singapore. It means they opend a visa processing centre (clerical) in Dhaka to do the final works after pps were sent.

hello all, I have great news! my wife got her passport back from Singapore last week. I was there with her for the last two weeks, I told her to stay in Bangladesh for another month to sort out office duties, and give proper goodbyes.

So now i'm lookin at bookin a flight near end of November. I found two good Flights, one at 7 am from Dhaka to Turkey, then turkey to Toronto. This one has a 2 hr transit in turkey. i'm worried that she might miss the flight cause of late start from Dhaka...

another one is on Cathay Pacific, at 2 am from Dhaka to Hong Kong, then HK to Toronto. same transit time in HK...same worry here, that she will miss her flight cause of delay...

what should I do? look for flights with longer transit time to account for delays? or go with those (which are quite cheap, around 1000$)

any advice is appreciated...thanks

No. She will come in April, 2015 after giving her final exam in Feb-March, 2015 in Dentistry. But you can buy ticket from that Bravofly website at cheapest price around your time.

Hey guys, this is going way faster than I thought. The passport was sent yesterday, and it's ready for pickup today! My wife's going to pick it up this afternoon. Wow unbelievable.

My message is the same as yours when checking in VFS. I hv just received a text from VFS asking me to pick up my doc today. I hope is it a good news. I think you ll get it the same day as mine.

Yeah if you saw my last post on this thread, my wife just got a text that the passport is ready for pickup.

That's super fast, normally I see people take 3 days to get passport from Singapore to VN. Haha maybe if you're lucky, you might even bump into my wife at the VFS office

My visas re in my hand now. Dont worry everything will be ok. My status changed to DM on 20 Oct. SO sent it on 21.10 & I get it today at 1.30pm.
