hi everyone! I also received an email today to submit my passport and police clearance..
I just thought that i will receive it via mail together with all our pictures etc.
I'm still reviewing the email that they sent me. I will request for police clearance next week when i get back to Singapore.
I'm so excited but still hoping that everything will be smooth.. ;D

Hi guys,

FYI I just got an email request to submit my original passport today (oct 29th). I have two questions, please help me if you have experience on this
1. They require me to submit my passport within 30 days, I don't know to count since what date? Because in the email they attached a picture of a physical mail sent from August 26th 2014 that i have never received. Do you think I should count from oct 29th?

2. I have question above because I have to travel to HongKong on middle of November. If the date is counted from oct 29th then i can go to hongkong and comeback and submit my passport. Or... Should I cancel my trip?

Yes It will be counted from Oct 29 .

Thanks for sharing the timeline. We received out SA on October 9th and medical got updated on file on Oct 14th.
Hope Singapore VO keeps up the current pace.
Since you got the Passport Request already you will most likely get the passport back in a month with the VISA ;D All the best.

so your timeline was only 2 months as per your timeline the file was transfered on August 29th? then i must say, the VO office in Singapore has really made a lot of progress! One last question, until you received your PPR, what was your ecas status? was it application received or in process?

Dear All,

I (FSW-MI 3) got my medical rprf and passport request on Oct 21 2014, but the medical form itself was missing in mail and without the form and ime No. i cannot do my medicals . I have sent CSE, Urgent reply to Sporeimmigration @ international.gc.ca & General enquery to Singapore visa office about the missing form but yet I didn't get any response & i am worried will i get it within the time (30 days)

If I count today 13 days passed (Including next Saturday & Sunday).

How long have to wait & what whould I do now ? ?

so your timeline was only 2 months as per your timeline the file was transfered on August 29th? then i must say, the VO office in Singapore has really made a lot of progress! One last question, until you received your PPR, what was your ecas status? was it application received or in process?

Hi jennifoysol! our file was transferred to SVO Aug 9th, then our status changed to in process Oct 7th finally PPR on Oct 29th. Today my housemate in SG told me that I received a package from Canadian High Commission, and I think its our pictures and some files..
I'm so excited to go back to SG to send my passport and request for police clearance.

Hi Karen,

I believe you can send along your nib and police clearance along with your passport and ppr letter to VAC. I have a similar timeline like yours, my husband submitted his passport through VAC Oct 27 along with Appendix A.
