We got the Passport and Re-med request today!!!

Hours later Thailand announced a coup.... and we need to get my husband's passport re-newed! Murphy's law.

Anyway very excited to be moving forward. If you get a new passport do I just send it in? Should I email them before hand and tell them that will be happening?

I have officially graduated from the Class of 2014

SG office sent out my passport on 20th May and it was received today.

I took the papers and drove to the border and completed the landing.

That was a fast delivery from Singapore to Canada...wow! DHL? FedEx? UPS?

just got a reply for sgvo for a case specific enquiry which i have made a couple of days back. anyone knows what this means?

This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada.

Your application is pending final screening. Please be advised that delays in the processing of an application are out of our control as some processing steps require coordination with external authorities.

Our office will contact you as soon as the review is completed, or as soon as more information, documents or an interview are required.


If you wish to travel during this period, please inform our office immediately and we will return your passports (without visa). You may re-submit your passports to our office at a later date.

Delays in the processing of visa applications are always disappointing to all concerned, but rest assured that all efforts are being made to ensure efficient and expeditious processing of all visa applications.

I have some good news to share. I checked the status today and it was changed to DECISION MADE - alhamdulillah. It says A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact my wife concerning this decision.

Does this mean they will soon dispatch her passport? I am kind of anxious.

To those who are patiently waiting, I pray that you are next.

hello ..I calculated the same time..I.e from decision made till receiving passpprts ..it takes around 24 days.

I just wanted to ask..according to the email sent by my mp it says I have till june 29 to land... I just got decision made on the 16th. .accordingly I should get the passport around the 10th of June. How am I supposed to land by 29th june if I get the passport around the 10th june.... also I cant buy tickets before I get my passport any idea what I could do...? Its peak season and flights are fully booked...
