The discussion is about physical presence. I said there is no requirement that you have to be physically present every year at the moment which will change with the new rules. That would mean you can stay in your home country for one year straight and still be eligible if you live the next three in Canada. Get it? 3 out of 4 years eligible.itstime said:You said:

The thing is, as soon as you reach a new year, the oldest year drops off and is not countable. It is very easy to lose days and lose eligibility.
