Did you have to pay for the fingerprints

AOR - September 13, 2024
Test invite sent - November 1, 2024
Test taken - November 6, 2024
Fingerprints requested - November 8, 2024
Fingerprints process completed - November 8, 2024 (waiting to update on tracker)
Test updated on tracker - November 13, 2024. It seems it usually takes about 1 weeks for test to be updated on tracker after completion.
Now waiting for background, lpp and the rest to be completed. Does anyone know the average timeline this takes?

Hello
My test window is Nov 14 - Dec 14 2024. In the invitation there is no mention of "if you are outside of canada"...

My wife took the test in April 2023 and her invitation has this below note specifically mentioned in the invite:

If you are outside of Canada and you would like to take the Canadian citizenship knowledge test from outside of Canada, please contact us (IRCC.WestCitizenshipEApp-
EappOUESTCitoyennete.IRCC@cic.gc.ca) within 24 to 48 hours from the date of this notice and
indicate ‘’Outside Canada’’ in the subject line of the email.

My question is, do anyone have experience in late 2024 taking the exam outside Canada with the invitation letter not mentioning anything about 'if you are outside Canada'.
And have you successfully taken the test, without any further inquiry / followup from IRCC ? Please share your experience.
I am in US and plan to take it in US because there was no mention of it, else would have travelled to Canada to take the exam.

At one point, they removed the restriction requiring approval to take the test outside Canada, allowing it to be done without informing IRCC. However, they later reinstated the approval process. It’s best to call IRCC directly to confirm the current requirements.

Glad you were able to finally create a tracker account!
Just did the test earlier this week too, I'm in the same position as you - waiting for it to update on their end.
Hopefully we are all back to normal!

Has anyone been given fingerprint request within the last 2 weeks? I was asked to submit my fingerprints on November 8 which I did. I called RCMP who told me they sent my fingerprints to IRCC on November 15 but they unfortunately sent it through Canada Post, knowing the strike was to begin the same day. I called IRCC who said they have not received my fingerprints yet. I sent IRCC my DCN number via webform which they confirmed receiving, but they said they need the direct fingerprints from RCMP. I don't know why RCMP would choose Canada Post knowing there's a strike. Now I'm stuck. Is anyone else in this boat?
