September 2024 Citizenship Applications

As IRCC sent me request for PCC in citizenship application so, I have applied PCC for India at BLS Montreal on 30 October, 2024.
Today the application status shows as below:

"Police Verification has been initiated and a request has been sent to Indian Embassy/Consulate. PCC needs to be collected from the Indian Embassy/Consulate where the applicant applied after a 'Clear' Police Verification Report is received at the Indian Embassy/Consulate."

What could be the next steps and how much time it takes to get PCC from here?
I just renewed my passport in 2022. So, still i can get police verifiication call in India?

The sender : DN NGF Citizenship e-Apps and email address has NGF in it. NGF indicates Niagara Falls office.

My original application was Mississauga, citizenship test email came from Niagara & fingerprints request came from Vancouver. I don't think one can really know their processing office these days. It's just needless

Your processing office is NGF then. Vancouver is the office which in most case send FP request irrespective of the applicants location.
