I just got an interview invite email today morning.

I applied on September 6th 2021 and finished my test on May 2nd 2022 - Scarborough Office - Online single applicant . Did anyone else get the interview? It asks us to be prepared with the documents that they have asked (if any) but i checked the email and the attachment and nothing was requested.

How long after the interview did they get the oath invite?

Do you know why they invited you for an interview?

Are all your other steps completed? Background, Test, Presence, Language, Prohibitions?

I got oath invitation from Manitoba and Saskatchewan office but I am in Vancouver .I did my oath on Aug 16 . How long does it take to get update . It still shows oath in progress.

I have no idea, buddy. My oath was yesterday, and I don't see any update to my file status. I'll keep this thread posted once I see an update.
Does anyone know how long, on average, it takes for the Winnipeg office to send out Citizenship Certificates?

Yes background verification and citizenship test is completed. others are in progress except citizenship ceremony which has not started.

Was the background check completed before the test invite or after?

I am also waiting for status update. Did my oath virtually on 16th Aug at Manitoba office. I have sent an web form asking for an update today. The auto reply to the mail sent for the signed oath letter states than "A decision/response to your request will be added to your file within 3 business days of receipt" but still no update.

Hello All- Quick question
I submitted my Citizenship application Sept 1, 2021 and completed test. Physical presence, language, citizenship still in progress.
I moved to US in Jan 2022 for a job opportunity and have been back to Ontario a few times since then. However, last week I flew in to Montreal from US for vacation and was sent to Secondary Inspection where they verified my physical presence. I had to produce my offer letter, rent receipts for period I lived in Canada (2018 - 2022). Finally I was cleared and free to go. Has someone else had this happen to them? and would this impact my citizenship application? I did change my address to US on the IRCC webform.

Applied on Sept 15th 2021, all completed July 28, ghost update on Aug 4, citizenship ceremony not started.

My friend got her oath schedule email after 3 weeks when everything (except oath) showed completed. You don’t have to do anything, just sit and wait.

My friend applied before me one month (August 26) and she got her oath email in July 23 and finished her Oath ceremony on August 3 and today she got her certificate on hand. Same office but we are from different countries, I guess mine is not following her time line anymore, everything of mine is in progress (except for test completed and oath not started) been like this for 2.5 months . Nothing we can do, only can wait.
