Hello forum members

I gave test on June 10, 2022. Tracker updated as Test has changed from “In Progress” to “Completed”. Does it mean that the officer has validated the test and declared it official ?

Hi Everyone,

Today, my language, physical presence and prohibitions were marked as completed. Oath Ceremony is still not started.

Also, in ECAS it is now decision made.

Does anyone know how long it usually takes until to get the oath invite?

Thanks.

You can travel with Indian passport until you get the Canadian one. citizenship certificate is listed as accepted document to enter into Canada as per CIC however the problem is with Health Services and ArriveCan. There is no option to select Certificate. You should probable check with them if they accept that document.

Not sure where your info is coming from.

  • You must wait to get your citizenship certificate after the ceremony before you can apply for a passport.
  • A valid Canadian passport proves you have the right to enter Canada.
  • Your citizenship certificate is not a travel document.
For more information here is the link: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...adian-citizen/after-citizenship-ceremony.html

This is why people apply for urgent passport processing otherwise, there would be no point in doing so.

There is no fixed timeline to this. It mostly depends on your processing office.
Better to let people know your processing office. Someone processing through the same office can provide you with the best guesstimate.

Use this link: https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/introduction.do?app=

Then enter your information, and you will see what step your application is on. You must have at least received an AOR.
We were not able to identify you using the information you provided. There could be three possible reasons:

  • Please be sure the information you entered is correct and then try again.
  • This service is only available to clients with applications in process. We may have received your application but not begun processing it yet. The following link may help you determine if your application is being processed:
    Application Processing Times
  • At this time, you may use this on-line service if you have:
    • sponsored a member of the family class;
    • applied for permanent residence from within or outside Canada;
    • applied for a permanent resident card (replacement or renewal);
    • applied for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship);
    • applied for Canadian citizenship for a person adopted by a Canadian citizen (on or after January 1, 1947);
    • applied for a citizenship certificate (proof of Canadian citizenship);
    • applied to renounce Canadian citizenship; or
    • applied to resume Canadian citizenship.
This is what I get

Here is your information:

https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/canadian-passports.html

I would strictly suggest you to use Canada.ca website for all your queries rather than asking around here. Its safe and keeps you from misinformation.

I read it somewhere too hence the reason I mentioned to check with them before doing anything.

Travel and identification documents for entering Canada (cbsa-asfc.gc.ca) you can find on this page and again I am not sure if its for people that have Canadian passport already but couldn't present at that time?

Try another option. If you tried UCI and it didn't work, try application number. This happens to me too. The application number starts with a "C".

I have tried before as well but couldn’t. My guess is only paper applicants can use ECAS?
