Everybody has the RCMP clearance request set to Y (except very small children, may be). Everyone has to go for RCMP clearance (this is a part of the criminality process).

You can ignore 'discretionary grant' as this doesn't apply to most people.

https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...s/canadian-citizenship/overview/granting.html

The Minister of Citizenship and Immigration has the discretion to grant citizenship to anyone in special cases. This discretionary grant is to alleviate cases of statelessness or of special and unusual hardship or to reward services of an exceptional value to Canada.

You might want to check a breakdown of my GCMS notes that might point you in the direction as to what information you've to look for.

There is no data for that. We don't collect the age of the applicants in the spreadsheet. Also, IMO, the age shouldn't matter and I personally don't think IRCC processes applications based on age (except when the applicant is over 55 or under 18, they will NOT take the test and that might result in faster processing times).
Sorry, I should have clarified. I meant by older..as in those who applied before me..I don't see any data of oaths for previous months applicants unless they were urgent applications.

This is what my paperfile status says. Any idea what is location: Registry?

Your file has reached Edmonton IRCC office and is placed in the registry. AFAIK, it means that the file has not been processed by the local office yet.

Oaths are kind of slow. I'm glad that the test invitations are progressing though.

You may have accidentally be showing your application number. Edit and remove that file#.

Registry implies that some checks are pending in your file and yet to be opened by your local office.

What does your App Status reason say? It should be on the first or second page of your notes.
