I am so happy to read this . I thought he biometrics are not given the file wont be processed further untill we give out bio. This update is satisfactory

Hi guys. I have a query and it would be great if you could help.

Earlier my CIC account used to show the application status as ‘You may not hear from us for a while but most of your progress happens on the estimated completion time shown’ or something along the lines of the that. This used to appear under the ‘Latest Update: You passed your medical examination’

Now it shows ‘Make sure you read your messages and take action when we ask you to. This will help move the application process along.’

I have no new messages and no new slots in the ‘Uploaded documents’ page as well. Is this completely insignificant or does it mean something? Just want to make sure I’m not missing anything.

It takes about 30 days to receive the file. Some provider(s) are experiencing chronic delays and disproportionately receiving 90 day extensions.

i think thats a generic update when a profile surpasses 50% of there progress time.. after 100% it again changes.. for me too its showing the same upadated msg and my progress bar is 51% .. i cross checked with couple of profiles having different progress bar..

Exact same for me. Thought it was just an automated update after 50% of the progress bar (3 months after AOR)

Dear All,

Guidance required pls. I was in Canada when I submitted my application in Sep 2020.
Jul 2020 - PNP nomination
JUL 2020 - ITA
AOR - Sep 4 2020
New PCC requested and Medical passed - Oct 13.
Nov 1st week- I had to travel back to India for personal reasons. My spouse is still there in Canada.
Dec 1st week - New pcc uploaded to the application.

My TRV is valid only till Jan 2021 - so not sure if I would be able to travel back. Need to apply new TRV.

So currently my application is like Inland PNP as my Canada addressis there. So do I need to update my address back to my indian address as I am not able to travel back bcos of TRV expiry? If I do so, it would become Outland application. But since my spouse (secondary applicant) is still there changing my address to my indian address is to be done ?

Please advise.

is there anyone AOR in Sept still has no update? even medical pass or BIL?

Hi, I have received my AoR on Sep 22 and till date, there is no update in my application.
I have given upfront medicals, biometrics are also done (given while applying for BOWP).
But the application says You do not need Medical, You do not need Fingerprints.

Called IRCC and the agent said that your file is not even started yet.

I am Not sure what is happening

The GCMS Notes generally arrive in 30-40 days from the day of ordering and Webform around 2 weeks.
My query is regarding the date on which the status is picked and shared. The snapshot of the application status will be of which day?

As in if someone orders GCMS Notes on 1st Nov and gets on 5 Dec , so the application status picked will be of approximately which date ????

1. When we ordered the notes (1st Nov)
2. The day we received them (5th Dec)
3. Or somewhere in the middle (20th Nov)

Just wondering if GCMS Notes takes 1-1.5 months , so won't they be 1-1.5 months old and show 1-1.5 month old application status ?

Not sure what benefit will it give to order GCMs notes of they will give 1-2 months old application status.

Same way , the Webform response comes in 2 weeks ,so does that mean the status will be latest as of the day when one recieves the Webform response ? Or it will be of the day when one raised a Webform ?

Can someone pls clarify ?
