Whats your AOR and the weird part of security is that most people say that it was not started until they received there COPR so you never know. main concern for now if eligibility to be passed.
hmmm that's weird. my eligibility is passed just wait for the security. thank you for the information

I have seen that a lot of application has the same status as yours. security hasn't started yet, mine as well. I wait for more than a month and my security hasn't started. Do you know why security takes forever to start?
No idea why it takes forever to start but have seen some posts where it changed to passed on the day they received their COPR, hope our gets a status soon.

Hi @legalfalcon, I’ve a question for you that when all stages are passed then why more than a month delay in the final decision? I noticed few folks who are in a similar situation and their normal processing time line is also over but no copr yet. Could you plz share your knowledge/experiences?

Hare Krishna! I think it’s because of pandemic, only inlanders in favorable position, they still receive COPRs, while outlanders don’t

So far, it doesn't look like they will be giving COPRs to outlanders before May.

There are many factors for the delay, internal processing memos, staffing issues, if you are inland, even if. aCOPR is granted, and if you cannot travel, your COPR will expire and IRCC will have to reopen the application, re-do he final review and issue a COPR again.

Hello All,

I just got ghost update. It is not the glitch for sure because I have noticed my Background check changed to "Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check." from "We are processing your background check. We will send you message if we need more information."

Not sure why the background check went backwards?

Any suggestions on this GU?
Hi All,

I have called agent support center and this is the first time I called them after Nov 2020. Reason behind my call is because I got GU yesterday. Agent was quite polite and answered all my questions.

File was last touched yesterday to update my eligibility to Recommended Pass and before to that update my application was last touched in Nov 2020 (MEP update).

Criminality is Passed and Security is not started.

Now, does anybody know when will the Eligibility be change to Pass after Recommended Pass?
