Expiry is for your counterfoil and not PR. Counterfoil is a one-time entry Visa to complete your landing process.Hi All!
I was hoping for some clarification, on my Express Entry Profile, it says my application was approved and it gives a document 'counterfoil' a number for the PR... However it expired in August 2020. Does PR expire? What does that expiry mean? What do I need to get done by August?
Thanks for the information. I am applying from Canada, I am on an open work permit. How do I complete landing process from inside Canada?Expiry is for your counterfoil and not PR. Counterfoil is a one-time entry Visa to complete your landing process.
So, you need to complete your landing before August 2020. Once landing is done, you will become a resident.
The info you got from the call centre can actually be true. As per my GCMS notes nothing happened till 16 JAN after MEP which was on 9 OCT. On 16 JAN they started my Eligibility analysis, followed by Criminality and Security.. Got my PPR on 5 FEB.Congrats!
