Finally we got some great news this evening. They are reviewing 'eligibility'. I checked IRCC ivr the message was updated.
Sept 11th applicant
Per IRCC, I the sponsor got eligibility passed and ECAS displays decision made on the sponsor side.
The applicant file is still in process.
Ecas shows Decision Made on PA side today 
Like-wise but I have received the email saying that I have met the eligibility requirements. No update after.

Yes DM on ecas for sponsor a few days ago, eligibility passed letter yesterday, and today DM for Principal Applicant on ecas

My hubby, the applicant is still in BGC since December 18. We provided the requested RCMP/fingerprints report on January 4. How about you guys?
Mine too still in BGC. Eligibility still in progress. Documents have been received but not reviewed
I was not requested this time. If I remember correctly I have submitted my RCMP when I applied.

I believe IRCC only asks you for the fingerprints if you haven't submitted them up front. I wasn't aware I could submit upfront when I submitted my father's application.

Same here and we used a consultant. I am not sure why our consultant did not suggest presenting the RCMP info upfront. My thought he didn't suggest providing in case IRCC does not need the BGC or something along those lines...
My father got the request the same day his BGC started.

I received an email today, SUBJECT: Confirmation of Permanent Residence Appointment...."Your final determination for permanent residence interview has been scheduled..." For April 25.
