Hi! Here are my thoughts...
If you provided an explanation for the missing marriage certificate that's not a reason for them to send back your application unless they've found mistakes or any other missing documents without explanation, etc. I believe you'll have to provide it some when but no reason for sending back.

So I just checked the online status of my marriage certificate and it finally says it has been processed and mailed out Jan. 14 by regular mail. I anticipate that I should receive it by next week. I have not yet received AOR but also feel that that is close. Am I able to send it "webform without a file #? We do have a UCI#...

I am also Sept 28, I wasn't able to link my application so email is the way to know if it got approved or by calling CIC.

I know I read someone had to get a new passport at their country's embassy here in Canada.

i got my passport renewd from my country embssay in Toronto . i paid more ( 380) to get it on same day . regular process is one month and fees is half . best option is pay more and get the passport same day. try not to delay the things, we are saving our processing time this way.

My husband had to get a new passport to submit to CIC - he went to the US Embassy in Ottawa, he went on Tuesday this week and they said he will be able to go back to pick it up in about 2 weeks.

Yes, the sponsor can travel as long as she comes back within a reasonable amount of time, and no, it will not affect.

The button combo to check your OWP status is 1, 1, 1, 3, enter your application number, press # and 1 to confirm, enter your date of birth, press # and 1 to confirm.

Chronologically you would have been the last missing piece and the tail end of the September Inland applicants. If everyone had the same approval time, we would’ve been all complete by now.

By the way, I'm not sure that you'll get an e-mail if you haven't connect your OWP application to the myCIC online account. Cause the e-mail that I've recived a day after the approval was related to my account not specially to my OWP!
