Thank you! Did you call the first thing in the morning? I am also using a representative so they sent the opw along with the pr application so I don’t have the opw application number which I need to call to find out.


When you call the IRCC, did they say they will mail you the approval letter or do they just directly mail you the work permit?

Yes they will mail the approval letter to the email u provided to them or to ur representative email and they will mail to them as well and once u talk with an agent ask them about ur OWP status so they gonna ask u som info like name address phone email after that they will tell your status

I was looking at the OWP approval dates and noticed that no one received their OWP approvals on Monday.

Out of the 20 September Inland applicants who got theirs, 6 people got it on Tuesday, 4 people got it on Wednesday, 6 people on Thursday, 3 people on Friday and 1 person got it on Saturday. So they probably review them on Monday and update the statuses the next day.

If not tomorrow, fingers crossed, then on Tuesday we got our approvals! I am not going to bother them tomorrow.

Dead silence until you receive your AIP, DM, and SA in 4 to 6 months unless CIC requests additional documents from you.

Is there a way to check your status anywhere? I am US citizen and I have been back and forth from Canada and US a few times since my application was submitted (and since I arrived last june). Was hoping there was a way to see exactly how many days I have been in Canada or what they have as a date. The border never stamps my passport.

Seems that the waiting anxiety intensifies as the days tick away with no response. Hopefully this week!!

No OWP yet, but when I logged into my account today, I saw that an application called "IFHP (Interim Federal Health Program)" was started today, definitely not by me!!!
