That is what it generally says before changing the status.

Checked my ECAS on 3rd Jan and there was a new message. I have a representative.I contacted him and he forwarded the Document Requested by CIC.

1. CIC asked for my (PA) "RCMP Police clearance certificate based on fingerprint".
2. Details about government service history. (My last employer was a government agency)

Completed both document and submitted, today only.

Any one also got fingerprint requirement?

Yes, my father did. I'm listed as representative on his file. He is to get a police clearance certificate that involves finger prints and a criminal background check.

i have been in canada since Aug 2016 , never went back to home country. i havent got fingerprinting request. PCC was submitted upfront with application. Background check started. have 2 dependent children. medical passed.currently on work permit , have filed for extension.
