Yeah you are not the only one... we got an applicant from Sep 4 and myself from Sep 12 still waiting. My husband (American) and I submitted our inland spousal sponsorship and OWP application at the same time - notified by CIC it was received Sept 28th. We still haven’t received his OWP. When we’ve called the CIC office we were just told that it’s under further review, has anybody else had this? They said they would contact us if they need further information which they haven’t. All of our paperwork was completed and submitted by immigration lawyers. His current processing status says he has passed his medical exam, doesn’t not need fingerprints or an interview and his BGC is under review.
Seeing that so many of the applicants that submitted around our date received their OWP’s approximately a month ago is pretty discouraging, not being able to get any answers from CIC or our lawyer she as to why it may be taking so long certainly does not help either.
Some of the early to mid-august applicants' Sponsor Eligibility reviews started last week. So keep an eye on their thread to get the most up-to-date answer to your question:Hi
How long they take to give decision on file after starting the eligibility?
This means that we are a month away from receiving our sponsorship eligibility update. Fingers crossed. Some of the early to mid-august applicants' Sponsor Eligibility reviews started last week. So keep an eye on their thread to get the most up-to-date answer to your question:

lets hope something good comes up. Try to find out if we could use Gckey to upload documents and try to upload it online if that is a possibility.I just spoke to CIC and was told that my OWP application is under a secondary review starting Jan 22 and it may take up to 22 weeks for them to come up with a decision. That's like the last week of June. Not happy but I guess there is nothing I can do other than waiting
Someone might have asked this question already but for those who recently submitted their RCMP fingerprints/PCC, how did you find out when CIC received them? Does it say "received" on eCAS or somewhere on GCKey? I submitted mine upfront with the application thus I was never asked but the call centre agent just told me that my RCMP fingerprints have not been received yet. Maybe it is because they haven't revieved the ones I submitted yet or maybe I need to do it again... not sure at this point
I saw an August 31th applicant received an update today. Getting nervousThis means that we are a month away from receiving our sponsorship eligibility update. Fingers crossed.
Oh no! That is so frustrating to hear after waiting so long. I wonder why your OWP warrants a secondary review? Which means we may get ours any time in the next two weeks. Is that Correct?I saw an August 31th applicant received an update today. Getting nervous

My question was in general because I have zero ECAS access. I do have the application linked to GCKey but I have noticed from other forum members that often ECAS states something different then GCKey and ECAS gets updated more often and rather quicker than GCKey.We didn't submit the work permit at the same time as my PR application, so it doesn't show anything on ECAS at the moment (maybe ever?)
