An applicant from Vancouver submitted a request to reschedule on last Tuesday and received a response on Friday for an interview date 6 days after his original one. Since your office is in Etobicoke, it could be much faster since Vancouver is considered super busy and slow.

Congrats! It's nice to see that you had some positive updates, hope the rest will be fast and smooth. Now, it's just @J-chy left in our September group who haven't had any updates since BGC started.

For those who already got their CoPRs (became Permanent Residents) and thinking of applying for a Canadian Citizenship, here is the link of a template I created to calculate my Physical Presence in Canada and the First Date of Eligibility to Apply for a Canadian Citizenship. I left some instructions on the top part and the rest should be pretty self explanatory.

Have fun playing with it! :p

Hello!

I'm sponsoring my husband.
I just noticed my sponsorship application status has changed to Decision Made. When I click it to see details, there is no explanation on what kind of decision was made. PR application Status is still showing In Process. Is it possible to be refused?

I'd appreciate if anyone can explain what will be the the process after this if we're accepted? I'm a QC applicant. Does anyone know how long is the wait time for landing interview?

Thank you!

If your application says Decision Made and you haven't received any letter indicating there could be an issue with your application, then it's a positive decision. They don't refuse you without giving you a chance to explain. Congrats! It was pretty fast for you considering you are a Quebec applicant. Would you mind sharing your exact timeline with me please? What is the nationality of the sponsored?

Sweet! Omedetou gozaimasu then :) Hopefully it won't be long until your landing letter. That should be the next step. That or getting an offical Decision Made letter, or both.

If it’s on sponsor’s side, then you will get SA soon. I have Decision Made on sponsor’s side since March... 3 months and counting... I’m also a Quebec applicant lol still waiting for DM on PR’s side...

I also received my PR card in the mail today! It's also the best photo of me I've ever had on government issued identification, haha!

Onward to Citizenship!

If there’s Decision Made and you haven’t received any letter of fairness, so it was approved. Since it was on sponsor’s side, you/your sponsor was approved to be a sponsor. I received SA two or three days after AIP, so you might also receive it soon.
Yeah, I have the impression that Quebec applications are taking longer than other provinces.
Would you mind sharing your timeline?
