Ordered GCMS on 4th Jan 2019, Received on 29th Jan 2019
Eligibility: Recommended Passed
Security: Not Started
Criminality: Not Started
Info Sharing: Complete

Got Ghost Update / ADR Letter on 19th Feb 2019: They requested Supplementary Information Request for Students (SIRS) Form along with Resume. I really don't understand why they requested SIRS since I have not applied for student visa nor I am currently studying.

Also Background status changed to IP2 ( We are processing your background.......) on 19th Feb 2019

Uploaded the Additional documents on 21st Feb 2019, status as of now is " Not Applicable"

Called them on 18th March, agent told the below:
Eligibility: Still reviewing whether you meet the eligibility
Security: Background verification's are currently in process
Criminality: Completed

With the above timeline, am I under Security Screening?

Planning to order GCMS after easter holidays!!

Did you clarify the reason for the ADR with them? It is possible they asked for it by mistake, right? I dont think it is SS for you, your application is following the same trend as that for most Indian FSWO applications. All the best!

Unfortunately I did't had the time to raise CSE and they gave only 7 days to reply, so filled my previous education details.

I called CIC they told me my eligibility is passed
My criminality is passed
My security is not started
My 6 months completed on 26 March

I received the same ADR to upload Cv and student info form. I read in some other thread that it is just formality for certain nationalities or ppl living in Middle east mostly.
Hopefully we will get our PPR soon.

Hi all,

I applied in September 2018 - in a month medical was cleared and since then there has been no update since. I called CIC and they said they dont see any problem with the application and there is no change. I ordered GCMS notes and i am waiting.

I am from India, but working in US - single applicant. Any thoughts about what to do and what's taking so long? it's been over 6 months.

“We verified the information you provided and can confirm that a decision has been made on the application. Rest assured that the responsible office will contact you by mail or email to provide you with that decision.”

I tried to call CIC twice today but they cannot connect me with an agent due to high volume of calls.

Anyone else in this situation? I spoke with an agent over a month ago and she told me the same! That a decision was made and that i would receive an email before the 6 months mark! But still waiting

You will find below useful information that we hope will help understand the process and current status of your application for permanent residence:

· The responsible office is currently verifying if your application meets the eligibility requirements under the immigration program for which you have applied,

o you may be contacted via your account if additional information is needed.

· The background verifications are in process.

AOR September 7
I have the same exact message over a week ago, I am now in my 8 month and haven't herd anything since.
I am not sure what is going on.
