Hi there
I'm curious about what Schedule A update means. Did they ask you for more information?
Cheers!

I got asked to be more detailed, it was the same document just to add even more details, apparently I had to be even more specific. thus I think you only get a additional email if you were not detailed enough in the first Schedule A you were sent in the previous email.
this is for me though might be different for my friend at the (HKVO)

Interesting, thanks for the info!

I had provided the details in the past 10years on the first SCh A and HKVO asked to provide the details/update since age 18, not only from the past 10years when they received my file from Mississauga.

Oh, ya, weird. I've been reading about this happening from folks on the forum, but can't tell if it has become common practise or not. The form states that we are to provide info for the last 10 years, as you did, so I wonder why they are requesting the longer time frame in some (or maybe more than just some) cases.. It will be interesting to see if they ask my partner (PA) for an update because he only provided info for the last 10 years.

It asks for the last ten years, or since you were 18, whichever is more recent. So if your 40 you go back ten years, if your 25 you go back to 18.

I think it depends on VO, i read many of the applicants from HKVO need to provide since age 18.

Yes, I understand how it's supposed to work, according to what the instructions say. But actually, what is happening sometimes is that folks who are older are still being asked to provide background info from the age of 18. This means, they are required to provide many more than just 10 years worth of history. That's what I'm referring to, and curiously, it doesn't seem to be consistent.

We sent ours upfront with apolice check they asked for another one on a new version. Two months later they asked for another one on a version from 2012. Since then we got a request for rcmp check and background check went to in progress and weve heard nothing since

Posting this here aswell as the October group (where I belong as I'm an October applicant!) incase anyone had any insight. I did a search and found nothing..

So this afternoon I (PA) received an email titled "enhanced AOR for back office" with a document attached.

My partner (sponsor) received AOR on Friday and I linked ecas and GCKEY that day, then got medical request this morning.

Do all PAs get an enhanced AOR? The email just says Mississauga received it 25th oct etc, please link, note about passports etc. and "Attached please find a letter related to your application. Please fully read the attachment and save this message for your records."

The PDF document attached has a part in it

"For your application, we have identified that there are documents which are missing and we will request. Please take the time to link your application so that we can quickly and efficiently ask for the documents, and you can quickly and efficiently submit them digitally. If you have not linked your application to an online account within 7 calendar days, we will send you an email to which you will be asked to respond via regular mail. This will introduce delays into the processing of your application."

Is that normal? Are they just referring to the police cert and schedule A?

Just thought I'd ask as hadn't seen anyone say anything about this.

never heard of that. although the new forms just came out in October and maybe this is the new way of doing things which hopefully is an even further streamlined process.
