Is there any one from Ottawa whose application went to in process recently? Please kindly share . My AOR was two weeks ago , but nothing since then.

Application is in process Nov 7th.

update my status please to
AOR on 6th Nov
I didn't receive email or mail for the AOR, just the CIC e-service declared that my application has been received.

OK, PLS UPDATE:

"We started processing your application on November 8, 2017." Cheers.

All of your guys will get in-process soon. Looks like there is one day delay to show status change from the web ecase.

Anyone can answer this question:

If, the the time you signed the application for citizenship was 17 years old plus 10 months, i.e., you are not 18 years old yet, do you need to write citizenship test later when you are 18? Below is information from CIC website, I believe CIC uses the age you signed the application to determine if you need to write the test. In this case, you are not required to write the test since you are not 18 years old yet (2 months short). Am I right? please respond.

Who has to take the citizenship test?

Everyone between the ages of 18 and 54 at the time they apply for citizenship must take the citizenship test. We use the test to determine if you have adequate knowledge of Canada and the responsibilities and privileges of citizenship.

If you are 55 or older when you apply, you do not have to take the test. If you turn 55 during the processing of your application, you still have to take the test since you were under 55 when you signed your application
