any news from ottawa people? today is exactly 28th days for my husband and we are still not in progress
I started to think canada post lost our applications in the mail...

Mine is still not in process. you already received your AOR , how they can lost your application?

well that was a joke..
but the application needs to be physically sent from sydney (where the acknowledgement happens and status changes to AOR) to ottawa. It will be via mail.so it can technically happen.

i hope we start receiving our IP soon! even october applicants started getting theirs! and so many people in september who received AOR after us did too. ottawa is so slow...

GTA Toronto have no received any IP's. I saw the excel sheet and none of the GTA folks have their IP's yet including me.

i hoope you get your IP status soon, but lots of GTA applicants became in progress. some from even brampton.

Just checked, still AOR . Its taking longer than average for sure but again their timelines are sometimes random.

Why do you think applications are processed in your local CIC office? Looking from the CIC website, i think they are processed at case processing centres (for citizenship, it means Sydney, NS). Most local CIC offices only handle citizenship tests / ceremony / hearing.

Yes, I hope so my AOR is Oct 23. So there is all applicants from Oct 20 to oct 31 left for IP status from GTA.

in ottawa, no one received ip for anyone after aor date of october 12.

in our case, we received aor on october 17th and still no IP
