My husband could finally reach an attendant over the phone and they said Sponsorship was approved since Oct 25th! For some reason he didn't get the email or deleted it by mistake : But the most important is that it was approved and i could finally link our application to myCIC using the tips of this forum!
It seems like everything is running on its natural flow

when i try to link myCIC to my application in the application details part what family name i have to write the applicant's family name or the sponsor's family name? Thanks

I followed exactly the steps you can see on the September spreadsheet "linking to myCIC" tab, i just had to put my middle and last names instead of only last name, put number 2 for applicants (we have no dependents)

MyCIC just has a bit more info on specific steps of the application... For example:

Review of eligibilty will be either Not Started or Passed
Background check will say either Not Needed at this time, Not Started or Passed

And so on for a few more things.. ECAS is good, I think they don't update it as much though..

In my case, we received AOR1 with application number and everything, we started tracking the process through ECA's, we saw there was a "decision made" on Sponsorship Process since October 25th and it was written a correscpondence was sent on the same day, but we didn't receive any mail or email.
I'm worried and thinking about calling them too. Can you please tell me the number or where I can find it? Did you call in the morning as some recommended?

I got an update in e-CAS since Friday night. Still having issues with myCIC account but I got an email saying it is being taking care of. I have third line added in e-CAS.

1.We received xxxxxxx application for permanent residence on September 28, 2016.
2.We started processing xxxxxxx application on November 9, 2016.
3.Medical results have been received.

"Medical Results Received" was number 2. now bumped to 3. I guess because it was upfront they scanned it before actually an officer start looking at the file or else who knows. Nice to see some updates on ECAS when my myCIC account is down.

When did you submit your medical because my ecas is still 2 lines
And my ecas doesn't tell anything about medical

And those whose medical was done few months back have medical updated on ecas

Medical was upfront so I submitted it with the application, September 28. It was done mid September and the doctor provided us with the required one page document to be sent with the application package and he said the results would be sent electronically.

There is no standard as it depends on the visa office I guess to submit updates to the system. I have limited info as I don't have access to myCIC. Hopefully once I get access I would be able to see what is going on with medical/elegibility/criminal check.

I'm in the same boat as Ottawaguy in regards to medicals.
As for linking, my husband is fr. The US and I tried linking our application for weeks, and finally got it to work by putting his state of birth rather than city as indicated. That may help if anyone is in the same boat as we were.

Hopefully you will get access to mycic within 2 days , same was with me, after getting in progress mycic got accessible
