Tried my 5 permutations with no luck today and I'm frustrated as hell. I like computers and whoever designed this is ridiculous. It's obnoxious that there isn't a simple one choice set of fields that everyone can easily enter and find an application, especially once we have both an app number and UCI number. I reported a technical issue because I'm so annoyed at the service. Will see how that goes.

Anyone know a phone number to call to get someone to link app with you? I'd rather wait on a telephone that try 5 times every 24 hours.

It's hillarious that ECAS shows in process but I can't even find a way to link to myCIC

I receive today the FILE TRANSFER to MEXICO because my wife is from Ecuador, now they request for Medical Exam, upfront ASAP, wow this process now its Running!!!!!!!!

Hello Andy, Did they send a separate email asking for medical? i received SA and file transfer email with medical examination submission guidelines at the bottom of the same letter. i have already submitted upfront certificate so i am wondering if the guidelines in the approval letter is standard format for all.

I hear they are generally pretty quick. I know someone who went through it in February of last year and received landing papers within six weeks from the time of receipt of application

Also have a question concerning medical.
I haven't been able to link anything yet - so I can't see a status but we got medicals done before sending out the package. We only sent the receipt stating it had been done from the panel physicians office - didn't send in IMM1017b - is this something we should do now?

My sponsor got the SA email today too! Looks like there was a batch of them sent out at the same time. Excited to see some progress! Good luck to everyone who is still waiting.

I think it's a special case because I'm Canadian by born, I have a 16 years married and , I don't sent the medical exam upfront with the Application forms, I choose wait until they request because (my logic) how you spend money and time in medical exams if you don't know whats gonna happen, so I don't get the SA until my sponsored send the medical exams...... but the case was transfer to VISA OFFICE MEXICO, I think that's a good news.

Happy Dance! Able to link my account and get on ECAS today! Still no email but things are looking up. Missed the FRxxx and have an Fxxx number. No clue how long it has been available as I was having a heck of a time linking as I was only using my hubby's first name and not his first and middle. :-[

Not too sure what date to put on the spreadsheet for AOR as the only date is Sept 26, the date they received it. Unless there is somewhere else to look on ecas or my account.

My application was also received on the 26th and we got AOR on the 20th.. I'd say it's a good date to put on the spreadsheet..

Did you get AOR at least? Usually SA comes about 10 days after (on average!)

So they sent the SA after you got your medicals done? We didn't do our medicals yet too. We were gonna wait till it was requested....I called cic and they said to go ahead and do it and send it to the VO. Wondering if that's when we'll get the SA...
