Hello all,

I phoned CIC because I am freaking out that I am not able to log in to ECAS. It has been a month.
The lady said my application is in process but couldn't explain why I am not able to log in.

I guess I will wait for test invite through the mail.

Good hear you have good news from the call center. I took me 30 days to be able to access eCAS. There was significant delay of updating status online.

Hello,

I have my test and interview next week in Montreal. I was wondering if someone who already had the interview would describe the interview and what kind of questions they ask please? Just a walk-through of their experience, I would really appreciate that.

Thank you,

1st month ... AOR... excited.. everyday updates
2nd month --- AIP--- super excited.. everday updates
3rd month ::: Test Invite/test ::: long wait... boring... mostly near weekend less updates

Just an update.

Fingerprints Taken: 10/31/16
Fingerprints Processed and Sent by RMCP to IRCC: 11/1/16 (Processed in 1 day) ;D
Test Invite: 11/3/16

Once update is done, it should be fairly quick to get an invite.

Thanks

I got fingerprint request on Oct 28 .... done in Monday Oct 31 ..... RCMP sent results to CIC on Nov 01.
I called CIC today to confirm they received the fingerprints results, they said they did not receive anything yet :(

Just talked to CIC call agent and he confirmed my fingerprint result was received. In addition, I was told that test will be on Dec 6th and test invite letter will be coming in several days. Lucky to meet a very nice call agent!

hey foxlink

Are you in quebec/montreal.For finger prints we cant really go to RCMP directly right? we need to get them from an accredited company and than they send them .After which RCMP does a verification. They send the directly to ircc or they will send it to us and we send? do we send it to local office or sydney nove scotia. Please give me some insight how your experience was with regards to fingerprints.Thank you and much appreciated

Congrats that's very lucky. How long ago have you submitted your fingerprints

just did my test today 20/20 - it was pretty easy. also did a 10 min interview with an immigration officer. he just checked my old and current passport, asked me what I do for living and if I have ever violated Canadian law to which I answered no. He then told me I should expect to receive a letter advising me to attend an oath ceremony in a 4 to 6 weeks time.

the waiting game for it just started - hope every body gets what they want soon.

thanks,
