11:16PM here in Ottawa!.... Ohhh boy I would love to see a DM! We are so ready to do this!

I so hope it happens for you this weekend Maria! 8) All of Sept has been waiting long enough and has paid their dues in spades. Heck it was long enough back in March let alone June already! ???

We landed yesterday at the Douglas PoE (Peace Arch). I was so nervous, I always am when I cross the border. But they were very friendly.

We rolled up, told them we were landing, and after asking us if we had tobacco, guns etc they had us pull over to the side. When we got up to the counter I explained I had my COPR. He asked about my car and if I was importing it. I said later, as I had only just gotten my title from back home in Oregon. He wasn't bothered by this at all and said I could start the process now, but it didn't matter I could wait. I had pre-filled out my B4's and they only glanced at em. My B4's were extremely vague and in huge groups (Clothes and Costume Jewelry; Household, Decorations, and Art; Computer parts and video games; etc...) but they didn't bat an eye. I did write the serial # for my Viola and my DSLR camera. I didn't bother putting my wedding ring on there and he said it was fine.

They had us go sit down and read some stuff about my PR. Then they called us up, said "welcome! You're officially a permanent resident!" and handed me this freaking cute lil flag on a stick hahahaha. He didn't even read my b4 i don't think. Lol. Just stamped it. They didn't care about it at all. He spent the most time explaining the ins and outs of maintaining permanent residency. how to get my SIN #. And sent us on our way !!!

I couldn't agree more. It is especially hard when March 2015 Ottawa applicants are seeing DM and here we are still waiting. Ottawa really is a mess.

I can't for the life of me understand this either? I mean I'm truly happy for everyone that can have a speedy process with immigration. And it's not their fault that CIC is doing what they are with jumping ahead of the line with applications nowadays. But seriously they are jumping 6 + months ahead to people way after us now?? This is so not fair to all the family's and relationships of those that were way way ahead in the line to be processed..

It's now 12:15am Tuesday.. There will be updates to ECAS sometime today.. Lets hope and pray that the 2014 Sept Outland thread see`s a whole bunch of happiness today with DM's a plenty!

Look at Leah, she sent in her CSQ May 5th and has heard absolutely NOTHING. That is jut unfair. How is it that her app is sitting 45+ days post document request and others are approved days after their request. Then people in 2015 being approved and others like me had to resend stuff we already sent.

I am sure everyone here is tired of hearing me complain lol.. but I am beyond annoyed with this process. I have also lost all hope of being approve this summer.

I think you have every right to complain about this process and what you've had to deal with so don't worry about it! And do not lose hope please, you have done everything they have asked and more.. You will be approved this summer and soon I anticipate You're probably tired of hearing me say that all the time, but I've been really wanting to come on here and see you and Leah, Mulez, fizban etc post some happy news already. And I have to believe that good news must be getting close because others here have had approvals etc, and we are approaching the 10th month mark now already..

On the spreadsheet for the Ottawa VO, and I know there are many other Sept folks out there that never joined the thread or the sheet which is unfortunate. But for just the Ottawa VO for Sept we still have left in order: Leah, Yourself, Mulez, SKfarmer, fizban, and elchaco87. So hopefully soon and maybe even today seeings how it's a Tuesday people may hear something.. And for the other VO's on the spreadsheet lets hope you folks hear something real soon also!

I feel down lately, as our lives are on hold and we can do anything about it. My job is ending in August, so i need good news very soon..
I try to enjoy every day, and live in the moment, but the reality is we're still waiting!

YES YES YES! AWESOME! ;D 8) I knew it!

It's good news Maria and can mean anything from your COPR will be in the mail today, tomorrow, or some days from now.. Happy dance time! Michelle got her COPR the next day after DM and mine came 8 days after DM.. You won't get an email or anything just have to wait for COPR in your mailbox.

are they not requesting for passport if your already in canada. ? they just send COPR after the DM?
