We got PPR today. :D Exactly two weeks after they requested copies of each passport page and proof of my intent to return to Canada. We'll submit it on Monday, and then buy the plane tickets when we get the passport back. After 4 visa refusals, I'm not buying tickets until I see the visa.

Congrats! Glad its almost over. Did they request prepaid return envelope too? They are notoriously cheap in Warsaw...everything has to be prepaid in advance...ugh. I'm assisting family with TRV's and they want the same thing to give the approved Visa's.

Thanks everyone!

No, they didn't, because we have to send the passport to the embassy in Moscow, via the Visa Application Centre. Russian passports cannot be sent across the border.

That's what I try to figured out a couple of days in my question towards Mandy. If her receive date is Sept, this is a very good sign for us Sept folk.

Mandy, congratulations. Very happy for you!!

She is on the Sept spreadsheet and her info is inputted as application received by CPC-M on Sept/26/2014. It would seem that should be good news for the rest of us, yay! ;D

The timeline on her profile seems to confuse what is on the spreadsheet. Mandy if you could clarify things that would be great! :)

Congrats Mandy 8)

Edit: Mulez, you should change your date to when the file was received by CPC-M's mail room. So that would be Sept 12/2014 rather than Sept 5/2014 as you have on your profile beside "App. Filed" 8)

Thank you Evadyrrehs, my bad 8) The file was indeed received on Sept 12 by CPC-M.

I logged into ECAS with my spouse's info, and it says DM. I checked with the sponsor's info a few days ago, and it still said Application Received.

Sending the passport off tomorrow. I'll celebrate when we get it back with a shiny visa.

Sorry if my info is wrong. I sent the application in July and didn't hear anything that it was received until Sept. 26 and that is what it states on my ECAS.They sent me an email last week asking for my honorable discharge and I sent it to my husband via email since he is in Canada ( THE MAIL IS SLOW) I am so excited!

Does anyone know if they always request Passports? I am traveling to Canada in May. I plan on returning and waiting in June in Canada.

Also I am still trying to figure out importing my car and I know I have to export then import but I am trying to see if it outweighs buying a new car there. Any one else muling over the idea?
