lleahdoll said:Question for Subbanator. Your profile says September 1st for application received but the spreadsheet says September 8th. Which is it? I'm the 9th so I am just curious.
thanks for the clear up! And congrats again!Subbanator said:Thanks everyone! I don't know what day our status was changed to DM because we haven't checked our status in a month or so but randomly did today after reading that other people in this thread got DM recently.
Ah the 1st was a mistake. Our application status says:
"We received your application for permanent residence on September 8, 2014.
We started processing your application on April 24, 2015.
Medical results have been received.
A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision."
every office is different BUT in the end a decision will be made on all the applications. so, I wait too, although not very patiently, but I feel we are very close also to receiving a DM.lleahdoll said:thanks for the clear up! And congrats again!
It's almost disheartening seeing so many people around my date and even way after it get DM. Do you guys think the doc request really set us back? I'm kicking myself now bc I assumed Ottawa would have asked for the CSQ sooner if they needed it.
I wouldn't stress about it overly much. Less than 50% of September applicants on the spreadsheet have DM or are Landed, and it seems like this is the first time we've seen so much movement all at one time for Sept. folk. I can only guess, but I'd think you'd have been contacted by now if there were any problems. I'm going to cross my fingers and bet on next week for you.lleahdoll said:thanks for the clear up! thanks. I'm probably overthinking it too much. I try and help people on here in the meantime but I keep getting "minuses" so that just discourages me from posting here at all. So thanks for the positive post. I appreciated itClaudzilla said:I wouldn't stress about it overly much. I've been in Canada, visiting, since November. Now it's just a matter of obsessively checking the mail for my COPR. As soon as that arrives, Husband and I will road trip down to the border. I might try calling whatever office it is here in Calgary and see what landing appointment times are like and doing that instead of flagpoling, but if they're anything longer than a week, we'll just drive to Montana.lleahdoll said:thanks. And congrats again on your DM! When do you plan on landing?
