Hello Everyone,

My application has received on 12th Sep,2014 but so far no response. Not sure when we can get the information on that.
Just called CIC office and they said that they have only processing application received by 29th Aug,2014.
However we see some of our friends have already received the confirmation for processing their application.
Not sure while logic these CIC people are working and so much disconnect within the same department.

Anyways i guess waiting for your turn is the key here.

I see that everyone who received E-cas knows when his /her application has been received and when has been in process but for me it shows only that my application is in process saying that my file has been sent to the CIC office close.... .
Is that normal? Anyone else has the same thing?

A real world interpretation of CS agent's word "working on August 12" is that ALL of the applications Que'd -- after first stage of initial scrutiny for file completion, signature and correct fee -- date stamped UP TO August 11 is entered in to system(GCMS) at the time of call. Has anyone, whose application was received at CIC around 1st/2nd week of October, received AOR Email?

My application was received on 6th October, 2014 at Sydney.

while checking my status when I give my permanent resident card number like for example 1234-5678 , the message comes that this number is wrong and it should be like RA1234567
what should I do , how can I check my status

the number like RA1234567 you will find it at the back of your PR card

I tried with that , this time they gave me message that may be your file is received but not started processing----- and some thing like that.

my file was received on 29 September , so may be in next week I will see some thing

I have sent my application on 12th and it was received on 15th of Sep. Still nothing.... Good luck to you

I feel you dude!! to be honest im totally jealous of people sending their application towards the end of the Sep and having the AOR already!!! sucks for us lol
