20 month(s)

I've been waiting for 22 months. They have everything they need to make a final decision but they are sitting on my application instead and I doubt I'm the only one. Aug-Oct are the last CEC applicants out there so you'd think things would finally get faster to clear the backlog, but instead they get even slower. They are brutal, just brutal.

I feel your pain bud. This is the worst department we are dealing with.

Don't you even get the RPRF or COPR???

Has anyone got updates this week?

question : I am 19-sep applicant still waiting for PPR.

I am currently in Toronto canada.
I am planning to move to a different address in a month.

what should i do if i get a PPR before i move. what should be the address i have to give in return tracker envelope?
what about the address to be given for PR card? can we give a different address for PR card at the time of Landing.

Is it better to change the address now to a friends address as i am still waiting for PPR and so that PR card can also be sent to my friends address?
should i just change the mailing address or do i need to change both home and mailing address.

I don't think we will get ppr before July 1st week bro. If you get ppr before Moving, you can give address of your friend on return tracker. Also check your personal message inbox.

Yes. At the time of landing we can give different address to officer at boarder.

Yes I got RPRF and paid it a while ago. No COPR.

I was asked to provide a certified criminal record check based on fingerprints. I have done the fingerprints and have attached the copy and forward it to CIC. However, today I have received another email stating that I have to send original with a copy of the notice to the RCMP office in Ottawa. Do I need to another police record check or is the fingerprint the one that they need?
Can someone advice me please.

I landed on June 10th, 2016 in the evening time after I got my passport back on the same day.

Thank you everyone. I found this forum is very helpful to those who needs more information about Work Permit and PR applications.

I seriously have no idea. Still waiting for any sort of movement after sending RPRF. My file is complete but instead of simply wrapping it up, they apparently just want to sit on it for months and months for absolutely no reason. I've run out of words to describe my frustration. >:(
