BOWP question
At what stage we no longer need to apply for BOWP.
Day we received PPR request
Day we received the passport back after stamping
Day we receive COPR or even landing has to be before BOWP expires?

when you receive passport back after stamping, you will receive COPR also along with it.
unless you get this you need to apply for BOWP.

you should hv valid resident status when u go for landing procedure or at least you should be in implied status
which means even though ur status as work permit has expired u hv applied to renew it or applied for bowp.
since if u dont hv valid resident status or even implied status that means u overstayed illegally and that might
be automatic grounds for rejection of PR. so better be safe ....

I'd recommend you to request your wife apply for extending her work permit. Its better and safer that way.
Even if you get the PPR and COPR before May 30, it does not matter because when you do the landing, the work permit will become invalid at that point.

So - apply for extension.

MR and final payment request april 4th
changed to DM today!
hopefully COPR will be in the post.
Anyone have an average wait time after DM or is it as random as the rest of this process?

Hi guys, it's over two months since they received my medical forms and still nothing from them. I have read here that CIC should get back to me in two month. Does anybody know if this is a good or bad sign and what can I do about it?

My spouse also added me on oct 2015 and my medicals are done on 7th feb and rprf paid on 5th march

Both the PPR not yet come

Added wife in Aug 2015
received Medicals for both on 7th Feb 2016
Received PPR 6th April 2016 just for me since then waiting for cic to change visa office for my wife to India.

Sept 2 applicant. Checked my ECAS earlier today, and it had changed to Decision Made!!!!!
All I'm waiting for now is the COPR. It's been a long, arduous wait. Hope everyone else who is waiting will hear the good news!
