would I still be on implied status after the 16th as my PR application is still in process?

No, unless you do not apply for extension i.e. 2nd BOWP.....to be on implied status you have to apply before the last day on your current visa.....

But if you look at the spread sheet there is no specific trend for this duration. Some got PPR 2 weeks after MR, some took 2 months :'( :'( :-X :-X

Hello everyone first Congratulation to all who passed every thing and ready to become a part of this awsome country.
and for me I need your help so I finished my MR last month and asked Dr. he said sent already 4 days later of the test. But now I just received an email from cic about DOCUMENT REQUEST. They said and asking- Medical: Complete or provide proof of completion of the Immigration medical examination for…......... my number. And must send them the requested information by email within 30 days from the date of this letter. What i should do about this? any problem will happen to my cast? oh pls no! Thank you so must.

That's quite strange. Anyway I think you should take the letter to the corresponding Immigration medical center and asks to do the needful at the earliest. Also do take that slip that they used to give after the check up. Everything will be sorted out. I have sent a scan copy of the same receipt/slip to CIC as confirmation. You should do the same too.

Thanks. With that hope few like me who left out from PPR is still waiting with so much eagerness for positive results.

Family of 4 did our medicals on March 16th.
Asked CIC if they had received all 4 medicals and if they required any additional documents.
Got a response today saying they have our medicals and they are still under review.
Seems to be a long time under review though from comments I have seen on here eh?
Anyone else spent a long time with medicals under review?

Called CIC today, and the agent was helpful. She told me my COPR was sent on last Tuesday. I am from visa-exempt country so no PPR. My ECAS changed to Decision made on March 26, 2016. It means they sent my COPR in around 10 days after decision made. This could be reference for people from visa-exempt country.

Thank you,
