September 2014 - CEC Applications

Called CIC today, and the agent was helpful. She told me my COPR was sent on last Tuesday. I am from visa-exempt country so no PPR. My ECAS changed to Decision made on March 26, 2016. It means they sent my COPR in around 10 days after decision made. This could be reference for people from visa-exempt country.

Thanks for the update. I saw my DM today and tried to contact CIC only to be told that they could not see my file and that I had to wait. Did you receive any time of email saying that they were going to issue your visa?

I had the same experience. The agent told me to wait for my letter

It seems CIC decided to skip the September applicants and process the Oct applicants. I am seeing more activity in the Oct thread than ours.

CIC is so like that, just because their lives are not on the line here. I am just so exhausted.

Every 3 weeks they increase processing time.

Let's try and keep positive! I am frustrated and exhausted but I am trying to keep hope. That said, I can't understand why we can't access info regarding our applications. It's so retarded.

Well, first off, they might not need your passport if you are from a country that is visa-except. If you need your passport stamped, then wait. They seem to be processing applications at random and not following any chronological order. I paid fees on March 25 and my decision made today. Although, apparently, I have to wait to find out what that decision is till CIC sends me a letter. Good Luck
