While they request documents after MR, it must be under the second review

Hey Sam,

My time line is left, I also got Y2014 T4&NOA request after MR. So you mean the file is under second review now...? Because after add'l docs request on Mar 16, I haven't heard anything except today the second line showed in ECAS "2.We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on February 3, 2015."

I am kind of worried now.....

Anyone has issues with ECAS showing out dated info? I received MR on Mar 4th and compelted Mar 20th. ECAS still only shows two lines with last one being we started processing your application on Feb 2nd.

Hi don't worry I did mine on 8th March and was updated on ecase on 26th March

ECAS is not updated regularly. For some, it took 3 months to show up. No worries.

Hi All,

Completed the landing process last night at Rainbow Bridge at 11 pm. I purposely selected late night landing to avoid any wait. It was a breeze.

5 mins wait at US checkpoint to get refusal letter and 10 mins at Canada check post to complete landing procedure. The officer at Canada check post were polite.

The officer did not even take or look at my work permit. She just asked the mandatory questions, stamped the passport and congratulated us.

I had taken so many documents along just to be safe but did not even check them.

I thank you all for the advice and support during this long journey. All the best for others who are still waiting!

I will still be in forum to answer whatever I know of this process

What are these questions?

Thank you. The questions are.. Are you convicted of any crime? Are you denied visa or asked to leave canada? Are you carrying monies more than 10K?

I believe these are mandatory questions everyone is asked of...

Wow. congratulations.. It took just a week to process, i sent it on april 6th hoping the same speed. Btw r u by any chance living in Ontario or ottawa?

Landed yesterday at Lewiston–Queenston Bridge. Pretty smooth process. All finished in 30 min. Advantage of this border is - we no need to get refusal letter from USA. Just made a uturn on the toll and finished the landing in Canadian immigration.

It is 30 min east from niagra. For the route you can google it. You can do landing only by car here. After going to the border you need pass the toll. Just take uturn and return back to Canada toll again. In returning inform the security at toll that you came here for landing process. Then they will ask to go to immigration center. That's it..
