Hi guys,
A quick question I received ready for visa email recently and I sent my passports for stamping. Now I have to go to India for personal reasons. So can I leave canada as soon as I got my passports back?. I heard somewhere that the visa will be valid till 1 year from the date of issue.

Or can I finish the landing process and leave canada and apply travel document from India? Which way is faster and legit?

Experts advice please.

Wow, big news and a huge relief I went to walk my dog, checked my mailbox and the COPR was there ;D So weird that it only took 1 day (I checked ECAS a lot of times every day) since "decision made" and I received it. And funny because I can't live more far away from Ottawa lol.

Anyway, thanks everybody for your help during the last 2 years I'll go to the border ASAP to do the landing process.

Hello Guys, I'm stressed out! Please Help!
I received my notes yesterday. I think i'm on second review. The latest note states that CIC thinks my main duties listed on the letter of employment appear to correspond more closely with Administrative assistant/administrative officers instead of executive assistant. But they haven't contact me at all, what should do now???

Hi guys, stressed here too. I got MR on 4 March 2016 ,additional docs request 5 March 2016. Provided add. docs on March 13th. Medical received is uploaded in ecas. Nothing since then. Do you guys think I'm in the second review? Very stressed and depressed. Anyone with the same timeline and nothing after add.docs?
I'm September 25 applicant.

You're fine don't even worry. Give it time. If something is wrong they'll let you know. Trust me! I took 20 months to get PPR with not much contact at all. The wait is unnerving but it will come. Stay positive.

I did medical on March 8th. Checked ecas on 14th and it was already there.

Be patient then. It will take more than a week.

Hi I did medicals on 16th march. I am a Sept 12 applicant and have 2 lines on ECAS. No mention of medicals on ECAS. No requests for additional information.
Nothing from CIC in a while, so to those thinking there may be problems with their application, please note that there are earlier applicants with less updates than yourself. So sit tight and be patient.
I know its horrible but we will get there eventually.
