Hey forum,

The tracker for my PP and COPR was just activated, it took exactly 14 days since my PP was delivered to CIC.

2016/03/30 18:08 OTTAWA, ON Item processed

xpresspost is guaranteed to be delivered within a work day, so I will get it by tmr!

Best luck to you all.

How did you know item was processed? Will it show in ecas? Thanks!

Basically when you send out your passport, buy an additional empty xpresspost envelope and keep the tracking number.

CIC will send back your PP using this pre-paid xpresspost envelope, then you will be able to track it using that tracking number.

Can someone tell me how to pay upfront RPRF? It appears the process is a little different than about a month ago. Do I have to create a login account on cic webpage before I can proceed with payment?

You should pay accessing the following link:

Hello

I recently done Medical Exam for WP.
I am wondering if the PR Medical Exam and WP Medical exam are the same?

While doing the test (during ME), i noticed people who came for PR Medical Exam went through the same as me.
I am considering if it is possible to send my eMedical (WP) to cic to consider it as my upfront of my PR?

You can use the same medical exam for PR as well. Best of luck!

Right of Permanent Residence Fee

ÿ Go to our Online Payment webpage

ÿ Read the instructions on each page, and click “Continue” to proceed

ÿ Select the “Immigration” link, followed by “Right of Permanent Residence Fee”

ÿ Enter the number of fee payments (1 or 2) in the box beside the fee of $490

ÿ Click “Submit”

ÿ Proceed to pay your fees by selecting “Pay” and then follow the instructions to pay with Visa, American Express or Mastercard.

Once the payment process is complete, the web site will display your official receipt in PDF format. Once the process is complete, please attach your receipt to an email, with your application number in the title, and send it to the address CPCO-Cost-recovery.CTDO-Recouvrement-frais@cic.gc.ca

The RPRF will be refunded if the application is refused, if you withdraw your application or if you choose not to use your visa.

Hi Guys, Please help me with this question.

I am in India right now. I have the RPRF request from CIC which I have not paid yet. I am about to travel to another country (Finland) for 6 months for work purpose.
Would it be ok if I ask CIC to change the VISA office from Delhi (India) to Helsinki (Finland) after I receive the passport request. Here the assumption is - after I make the RPRF payment it will take another 2-3 weeks to get the passport request and by that time I might already be there in Finland.

So many things going around at the same time and its killing me.... :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(

Guys, Please help !!!

I dont see any reason why they wont change....Let me give u a recent example....My Friend is from India....She has come to US 6 months back for study....She got the Passport request from Warsaw Office as she applied under FSWP and her file was being processed there....She sent an email back to them to change the visa office from Delhi to Warsaw....She got the reply in 5 days and has submitted the passport in New York...Even though, she applied under FSWP I feel that the process should still be the same for CEC....

Done Landed on the 30th of March @ rainbow bridge, all went smooth, what a relief!

I dont think ,,,

HEre is new news this might be again affecting us

The immigration department will now process all applications for Syrians received as of today with an eye towards getting a further 10,000 Syrians to Canada by the end of this year or early 2017. Just saw it on Global news
