Guys,
Don't ever consider waiting for PR instead of applying to 2nd or even 3rd BOWP. Just don't take this risk. CIC might make delays beyond your imagination. There is nothing to lose to proactively applying to BOWP.
If it's the $ holding you back, remember you may withdraw and get refund for BOWP before it gets processed in 3 months time, and if PR is on time. Entering the last 4 month of expiry? Just apply BOWP right away - just do it.

Yeah JUST DO IT ASAP

Same here. Everything passed and I should wait for finalization. The last agent I spoke to told me that none of the agents is supposed to tell us that we are in the finalization process - Not sure why - but the agent was very kind and I spoke to her a while, in the end she even laughed and told me all I can do is wait. I must have sound a little desperate, I guess. But if everything is passed, then I don't know what else we should be waiting for. So then, I am waiting.

I don't know how it works exactly. Is there only one officer responsible for our file or is it constantly assigned to somebody else once an officer completed the current review. E.g. review completed with officer 1, then new files coming in and the file goes to officer 2, who takes a look at what the previous officer did and goes from there?

Did you ask when's the last time they touched your file?

Not really. But it must have been around the first week of March. I don't know how frequently the files are being looked at, but I noticed a weekly trend. However, I assume it's monthly though. Waiting until the first week of April to pass to contact them again if nothing happens or perhaps ask the MP.

I want to wait until the end of April. Mine expiring on July 25th.

That is what we are doing to, as we have the April 4 due date so hoping we will hear at least something!

I wonder if everyone is having the same due dates? What are the due dates? Dates when the file should be finalized or merely touched for review?

Do agents disclose the due date on the phone?

Yes, I think we all have the same April 4th due date.
I wonder if it's the same date for those who have been PPR?

I just got my GCMS notes which I applied next day after I got RPRF request.

Just to share, I found that my file went on Second Review

Feb 19th - Officer looked at file and found everything in place. But added comment that Sche A form was not filled for 10 years. Hence Review Required.
Feb 20th - Second officer reviewed and found no gaps and no concerns. Hence Recommended passed.
Feb 25th - RPRF Request
Feb 29th - Passport Request
Mar 16th - landed.

Kiran I finally got my passport back today. Can u tell me if there is anything I need to take to other border besides the letter CIC gave along with the passport? Thanks

How do you guys know your due date? Last summer when I applied for GCMS notes it said my due date was feb7...well it's long past that. Are your current gcms notes saying April 4th or are the call center agents telling you this? I'm a sept 29th applicant. I did upfront medicals 2 weeks ago.
