Hello everybody. I paid the RPRF upfront on Monday and I am able to log into e-cas using the receipt number today. It took them just 3 days to link the payment to my file. They seem to be picking up some speed. Thought I'd share this update with everybody.

Has anybody noticed that most applicants between Sep 15 and Sep 30 are getting some updates on their applications. Unless I am missing something, I see very few updates for applicants who applied between Sep 01 and Sep 15. I wonder if this batch of files are being handled by a different VO. Any members here with some advice or thoughts on this? Don't get me wrong. I am really happy for the Post Sep 15 applicants. I am just curious as to why pre-Sep 15 applicants are not reporting anything like MR, RPRF or DM. Fingers crossed for all of us.

Hey, alot of early september applicants were getting MRs towards end of January and early February.

Sept 9 applicant. Just got off call with CIC, asked them the status of my file. They said you are very close to getting an update on my file. I asked if I am under second review, he said that no I'm still under regular first review and can expect to hear something very soon. Hope this helps other Sept 8 and 9 applicants.

Hi everyone,

I've been wondering about doing my RPRF upfront - I've had some conversations with employers who aren't willing to hire me until I have PR so would love to speed up the process anyway I can.

Are there any risks to paying upfront? I got my MR recently, but I could still be refused right? If I get refused can I get a refund on the RPRF?

@canadamaple : no, nothing. No additional documents requested either. I got my BOWP approved last month so I was under assumption that my eligibility is probably set to be pass in order to get the BOWP. I do have PNP submitter last year in July. I am wondering if they r taking time because they need to verify 2 applications are in sync.

I called CIC again today, not helpful at all.

Kept me on hold and came back and said it just says the application is under review and call back in Sept 2016.

I was like what the heck. This wait is just killing me. I am going to order GCMS notes now.

thanks, I am forced to think they are do more BC check of non-local graduated students. sounds not true .

BTW: my AOR is Jan , 22 , but in the middle time the web site once show it as Feb. some date I forget, and I call CIC , it is wrong, then they correct it .

maybe they are checking our case based wrong time line they have in hand.

do notice this bug before for your case ?
