September 2014 - CEC Applications

Posting in here to seek some answers! (Sorry if you happened to see me in Aug/Oct posts!)

I applied for CEC -PR on Sep end 2014 and then left Canada, been in India ever since.
I stayed in Canada since 2009 with gaps in between so I fell into the rule that prohibits one from getting in without a PR if they haven't stayed 12 continuous months out of Canada of preceding 36 months.
So, couldn't apply for a WP in whole of 2015 and my PR app, well you know how fast that moved.

The last update I had on my ECAS is when they updated my address from Canadian to Indian couple months back, had requested for same back in Feb.
Now since I completed a year out side Can, I applied for a fresh WP - with no mention of PR app. (bec' WP is employer driven and PR is personal).

Now today I see they have updated my address again with the addresses on my WP app, IMM 1295E!
Mind you there were cosmetic differences only, like when you say Ontario, Canada vs, ON, CA.

How come they were so prompt in updating that, word by word, from my WP - tells me has to be a robot.
So, are WP and PR apps connected? How could they, since my last UCI#, on which they gave me my AOR, has expired and thereby not mentioned in my new WP app?

Will they pull out both and scrutinize so far as to take action against the other? Does the law bar me from applying in 2 different ways - but that'll be so illogical considering WP is temporary in nature and PR is not!

Mind you, no emails nothing! Just the address changed from other app!! Somebody demystify for me, please!

Seems they have defined plan to clear old applications from the beginning of new year. Hope for good

I had applied CEC in Dec 2014 on NOC 0621.....but unfortunately no AOR till September 2015 but in between I had applied for PNP as back up from Ontario in Master stream in April 2015 and got AOR in May 2015 then Nomination Certificate in Aug 2015....so I have withdrew my CEC case by writing them a letter and after month in Sep 2015 applied for PR based on PNP nomination and got AOR in Dec 2015...so now waiting for my medical...

Who are they though? cicnews.com is not CIC and it's a very unethical business practice to append CIC to the domain name.

CICnews is part of Canadavisa.com and they update regularly about immigration news. I am not sure if you have read the article, according to it CIC conducts weekly webinars and finalizing of pre EE files was made by CIC policy analyst. Hope this clears your doubt.

so when process time is 14 months, CIC all center is 18 month can do query,

if process time is 16 months, does it mean CIC call center need 20 month to do query ?

anyway, Happy New Year, even life can be finished, so this application should be .
