by the way, happy 14th month everyone lol
according to the agent i talked yesterday on the phone, you need to inform them when the processing time has passed.
the agents will request an update and at least they have a look at your file.
most likely they will say it's still in process but it's better than doing nothing.

14th month starts from when the application has been received in CPC-Ottawa office. Practically the day of our AOR. So 14 months from Jan/Feb 2014. This is based on some of the threads where the applicant had called the office to check the status and information given to them.

that's not what the call agent told me
as soon as i asked her about checking my file status, she asked me when the file was received
and then she was able to request an update.

don't wait another 2 month

LOL, they shut it down for good to shut up all the whiners and reduce our stress levels. ;D

Here "we" refers to CIC, not CPC. So it starts from the day CIO-Sydney receives the package. CIC has been very consistent with this definition in the past.

CEC just made us everyone fool...

nothing on the ECAS you can open the website and log in just to get disappointed again.

No update at all on the status...

Same here... No update... I just called CIC and ask for an update about my application submitted in Sept 2014. He said, the immigration officers are waiting for the clearence of Criminal Background checks for bulk applications submitted in Aug/Sept. I also said, how come Express Entry applicants are getting it within 6 months and he replied he has no update but they are doing everything they can to process it fast. He also confirmed that there are no issues with our applications, its just he can't do anything...

This is true... All our notes says Criminality: In progress. Reason behind: no one knows except them
