Hi everyone,

I don't exactly know where I am belong to. I sent my application initially awhile back ago, and their system says that they received it on July 2014. The thing is, there was a couple of problems that made them return my applications back to me. I resent the application and I received the acknowledgement email (which I assume called AOR here) on September.

I have not received anything yet since that email. So, which thread should I be looking at?

Thanks,
Mahendra

Hello Guys,

I have some questions regarding T4 and NOA.

Does anybody know which visa office handles applications from outside of Canada? If my work experience counted until August 2014 and I have 2014 T4 and NOA ready then, should I wait for a request from CIC? I've applied PR to Sydney from outside of Canada,
The pay stubs my previous company issued and I included in my application were not like in a good condition but I didn't have a choice.. so, I'm just longing for T4 and NOA request since I got them. Also wondering if there will be a request from CIC, when will it be.. .? There hasn't been any notice except AOR yet.

It will be really appreciated your response.
Thank you and hope you all have good luck with this sloooow process for PR.. .

Can anybody give me a reference of all abbreviations used here, i.e., AOR, GCMS?

Thanks,

Hey Everyone,

Has anyone who received their AOR in January received their MR yet? I read it was showing an average of 6 months from the date of receipt of the AOR, is this still the trend??
Thanks,
KM

Hey guys quick question. I will be getting married in October to a Canadain girl. Do I add her to my current application or would it be quicker to start spouse visa? When we get married

If you get married in October you should notify CIC that you got married (after the ceremony, not before). You can't start a family class sponsorship application if you aren't married (even if you have everything arranged). The processing time for that application is 55 days of Assessment of Sponsor plus 16 months of Assessment of Person Being Sponsored. So, if you have already applied for PR through the CEC program, don't waste your time and money applying to the family class unless your CEC application is rejected.

Was browsing through May applicants .. and most of them guys just received their MR last week ... so its 13 months from applying.
However August 1st week applicants received their MR in May 2015.
So its totally a mess and there seems to be no structure followed as per my study

i remember seeing someone's post about starting a petition.....
maybe we do really need to start one

i don't think Canada government understand how this ridiculously delayed process can screw so many people's life

Nice Ho
I dont understand their logic .. people are applying for CEC after being in the country for a few years and adjusting to society and then u go ahead and start express entry for brand new people whom never been here .. whom the govt doesnt know if they can adapt , if they will face any issues in canada , who have no clue of the canadian society and the people.
Just plain stupid ... but im more mad cos CIC cant hire more staff to make the processing go faster for honest hard working people who have slogging their asses of everyday to achieve their goals.
