Thanks Pearl1 for the reply.
I will apply my BOWP and spouse OWP for my wife.
can I apply both of them online

My spouse's PCC just arrived a couple of weeks ago and I was wondering if there is a way to get it "added to the application" before CIC makes a formal request (I am the primary applicant and my PCC was sent with the original application). I see the address below as the place to send original PCC to, but I am not sure if it's okay to do that before being requested by CIC.

Case Processing Centre – Ottawa
219 Laurier Avenue West, 7th floor, section B
Ottawa, Ontario K1A 1L1
Canada

Any advise would be much appreciated - thanks!

Send it now, registered mail and signature required.

CIC will not ask for these in a hurry and if it is not there your application will take a longer route, however, if it is there the process will be shorter.

Don't wait for anything.

SS updated. welcome to the club.

Hello guys, can anyone tell me what happened? The CIC went on strike again? Why do they get stuck in August applicants? The processing time of work permit application is growing from 20 days to 76 days as well, while the processing time of CEC is "13 months". Can you believe that? Do they need more officers to deal with their jobs?
So anxious and frustrated.

Hi Guys, I've been a silent reader of this forum for a while, and want to thank you all for the info that you share here, it helps a lot.

I am also waiting for my turn in line for medical request and I agree that waiting gets stressful.

If we take a look at the workload of Visa Officers these days based on the official information from CIC website it indeed looks like they are very very busy these days. The reason is EE application deadlines are coming soon.

Here is just statistics - numbers of EE applicants and due dates for these applications. Apparently Visa Officers are trying to focus on big numbers of apps that should be finalized by August and September. Hopefully, after that they will have more time to get back to our applications. This is just my assumption and I hope everyone will get their MR eventually.

Application Date - Due Date (6 months) - Number of applications
January - July - 779
February - August - 2815
March - September - 3257
April - October - 1640
May - November - 1361

Well to be fair they should've worked on the backlog first before switching resources to EE.
Based on someone's notes here we our files have a deadline of Jan - Feb 2016 depending on when applied...
