What is actually 'Application assessment,'? Due date noted as 21/05.

I'm October applicant whose application came back due to over all cap..

I applied cec express entry in 2 nd week of March and last week my PR approved ,.. I just want to say you thanks ... I have learned many things about cec in this link ....

Do you have any section as Application assessment?

Yes, but under it "Assigned to", "Assigned by" and "Due date" are all blank. How about your one?

Assigned to and by are blank but due date is 05/24/2015.

Does anyone have a clue what is going on with CEC? I looked at my GCMS notes and absolutely no progress since they sent out the AOR in back January.

If you look at the FSW November 2014 spreadsheet, you will see a lot of them already got PR (within 6 months), whereas if you look at CEC May 2014, none of them have received PR yet in 12 months. Even though at the time we applied, the processing time for FSW was two years, whereas it was 13 months for CEC.

Furthermore, the express entry is designed so that CEC applicants with scores between 450~500 have not much chance. If you consider someone with 735 get ITA, that pretty much means they either have PNP/LMIA, and got really poor score in education/work experience.

If you look at the BOWP processing time, it is being delayed everyday.

I could understand that CIC is busy processing the express entry, resulting in delay in the old application, but these doesn't add up when you look at FSW. Why are we suddenly the step child in the eyes of CIC?

I guess they will start our files after July applicants. If you see July applicants are getting PPR now.

As per the eligibility parameters mentioned in the link above, yes you can apply for an OWP for your spouse.
