Hello! I also from edmonton. Just have a question. Once we received our passports back where should we go for landing? I heard that we can go to Canada Place in downtown edmonton. Is that correct? If so, should we call the office to schedule? Thanks!

either you can call CIC to schedule for Inland landing or you can go to USA border either Carway or Coutts its up to you. usually inland landing takes time 3 to 4 weeks but you can do landing border any time.

Hi, I've heard different stories. One our coworker who applied for CEC as well just went to Canada place to get his card, and another guys from also applied CEC , so they needed to go to American border to go through this landing procedure. So I guess we just need to wait for instructions now when they sent passports back. Anyway 550 km to the American border is not a big deal compairing with 18 months of waiting I'll update once we get the passports!

Ecas shows decision made. just changed this morning.Last night it showed in process. i am from a visa exempt country so will i receive corp in the mail. and how long roughly will it take i know everyone is different.

My Ecas got updated on Thursday saying medical results received. Any idea when and what is the next update im looking for ??

Also I have paid RPRF fee and done RCMP check upfront. Today I received mail to my home address from RCMP.

Please advice

Received ready for visa email on 10th March. Since I am currently in India I have asked for a change of visa office by sending an email on 11th March. But still no update, is there any timeline for change of visa office. Usually how long does it take?. Should I call cic regarding this. Please suggest.

Hey,
For the PCC you must apply for a new one, because the PCC from July 2014 is expired and send them a copy by email ( I don't know what about India, but in Israel they will not give you the PCC they will send it only to Embassies, I sent it to Canadian Embassy in Israel and they forwarded it to Ottawa)
And for the Schedule A you should add the missing information from your previous form that there will be no gaps in time until this day, sign it and send a copy to them by email (Just reply to the email that you got from them).

Hi deena7689. From what I have been reading, it takes about 2 weeks for CIC to send a second PPR with instructions to submit PP to the LVO. You should hear something fairly soon. I am in the same boat. I had sent a request on March 04th. I hope to hear something this week. Will keep everybody posted. Cheers!

We started processing your application on February 2, 2015.

and haven't heard anything back from CIC yet. I applied under CEC.

I have done
upfront medical - January 29, 2016
upfront RPRF - March 16, 2016

Does any one has same timeline? Just curious most of the people are getting DM while I do not have any update on Ecas.

Nothing to worry man...There would be many like you....Imagine this like a random queue...no one knows who is ahead of whom....but the way CIC has been processing the applications recently, expect to hear back from them sometime soon...I would say this month or early next month.....

My medicals is expiring on 28th Apr 2016 & i am waiting for PPR .....

Will CIC extend my medicals for 1 more year or i have to do again..... Fingers crossed.....
