its weekend, it was very quite yesterday no one got any PER, the spreadsheet has not changed.

Dear Fellow Members

Is there anybody who has got PER, wherein his/her application has been transferred to Dakar, Senegal instead of their home country VO. Mine is such case. Would like to have clarity on few points -

1. Do we need to send documents & PPR (if we get to that stage) to Dakar or our home country VO
2. Where do we raise CSE, if any
3. If we are called for interview, do we have travel to senegal

Anybody having any ideas about above points

The mail you guys received with a different VO is a generic mail and it has been like that sometimes. It has nothing to do with your your assigned VO. All you could do is to send an observation mail to the email u got the PER from on the grey area on your PER and copy CIO while you await MR. And you could raise CSE (+ email) to your main Local VO and wait for their response.

You could do this like 20 days after PER.

I am of the view your status quo remains unchanged.

I was checking "http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/offices/apply-where.asp#u" link and found that the FSW applications are being sent to Abu Dhabi office for UAE applicants. Earlier it was London, so does it mean that CIC is trying to speed up the process by assigning local VO?

Hi guys,

Just to let you know about my status. I posted this on the main thread and searched the forum like crazy last night, but I'm still not sure about the outcome of all this.

My CC was charged on 26-11-2014, and on 16-12-2014 my ECAS showed "in process". I still didn't get my PER and yesterday when I checked ECAS it showed nothing. As if my app just disappeared. 2 days ago it was still there.

I found on the forum that they were mentioning that one person's ECAS disappeared like this and he ended up receiving his file back. And also found that the status of another person got within a day from "in process" to "decision made" which ended up being NER.

On a more positive side, I read on CIC site that there is a technical problem with some applicants and their ECAS access.

And my last piece of hope is that I accidentally thicker the box in ECAS that removes the online status. So I also wrote to CIC.

I really hope that I'm still in.

Just today I got information from my Bank that My DD was En-cashed on: 31st December.

Exactly after 3 months!

How can I find out which visa office will my application go to? And how much time does it take usually to receive request for MR?

Anybody received a PER with this information that his visa office is changed from London to Abu Dhabi??

I checked the visa office link and it has changed from London to Abu Dhabi for GCC countries. Pakistan applicants also changed from London to Islamabad. I guess CIC wants to reduce the load on busy LVO and NDVO. Hopefully it speeds up processing for some of us.
