I checked the visa office link and it has changed from London to Abu Dhabi for GCC countries. Pakistan applicants also changed from London to Islamabad. I guess CIC wants to reduce the load on busy LVO and NDVO. Hopefully it speeds up processing for some of us.

It is also possible that they have changed the visa offices for Express Entry. Because they have removed almost everything regarding the old FSWP (under which we all applied) from their website. Maybe this VO change is one change amongst the others...

I sent my application from Dubai in September and got the PER on 30th Dec.
How can I find out which visa office will my application go to? And how much time does it take usually to receive request for MR?

Hi guys,

Just to let you know about my status. I posted this on the main thread and searched the forum like crazy last night, but I'm still not sure about the outcome of all this.

My CC was charged on 26-11-2014, and on 16-12-2014 my ECAS showed "in process". I still didn't get my PER and yesterday when I checked ECAS it showed nothing. As if my app just disappeared. 2 days ago it was still there.

I found on the forum that they were mentioning that one person's ECAS disappeared like this and he ended up receiving his file back. And also found that the status of another person got within a day from "in process" to "decision made" which ended up being NER.

On a more positive side, I read on CIC site that there is a technical problem with some applicants and their ECAS access.

And my last piece of hope is that I accidentally thicker the box in ECAS that removes the online status. So I also wrote to CIC.

I really hope that I'm still in.

For me nothing about VO in per email, so my vo is not changed and it is Delhi...

Its because some Visa offices are overloaded and can not meet up the time frame, so CIC is sending applications to the VOs nearest to such countries to assist and to make the work faster.

This week you will get PER. I am 15th Sept DD applicant and got my PER on 2nd Jan 2015. So you are next in line.
