How does one check EACS status online?? Do we have to get confirmation on CC/DD charge before itself?

If this is your first time for any Canadian visa then Yes you have to wait for the CC/DD charge and PER mail as well which comes with your UCI number.

In case you have applied for Canada visa earlier you may have your UCI number but its very unlikely that you will see any thing before CC/DD charge.

Yes i was able to login on 11th December after trying for many days. 3 days later, i got PER.

I am 4 sep applicant. Mode of payment is DD. NOC 2263. I am still waiting anybody tell me when will i get some reponse from CIC.

I got this email today:

This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada in the Federal Skilled Worker class.

The Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism issued instructions which were published in the Canada Gazette on May 1, 2014. Only applicants who meet the criteria specified in these Ministerial Instructions are eligible to be processed in the Federal Skilled Worker class.

Based on a review of the information you have provided, your application has received a positive determination of eligibility to be processed on the basis of work experience in an occupation specified in the Instructions issued by the Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism and published in the Canada Gazette on May 1, 2014. However a final decision on your eligibility to be selected as a federal skilled worker will be made by a visa office.

Your application has now been placed into processing.


X This correspondence also acknowledges receipt of your payment dated 24 November 2014 in the amount of $550.00 Canadian dollars. Your Payment Receipt No. is ------------. Please keep a copy of this letter for your records and quote this number on all correspondence relating to application fees or refunds.
