Who recieves the AOR? is it the sponsor or the sponsored person? just curious. My case, im the sponsor and i have to wait for it to apply for my wife's CSQ for quebec. Sending our application soon

Thanks for the quick response. The application was received on 2013/09/30 and I just received approval to be a sponsor today

Oh and the e-mail says it will be sent to Caracas, Venezuela. However on the CIC website it states that all Venezuelan Family Sponsorship applications will be sent to Mexico.

Do SA notices are sent via email or through a physical letter in regular mail? both?

If it is through a physical letter, when it was dated and how long it took canada post to deliver it to you?

I didn't receive an email. Just an update on ecas showing 'decision made' and will mail me a letter. I called up cic to make sure SA went through and they confirmed it.

i think the sponsor only, at least in my case only i received the AOR email.

SA notices are sent to the sponsor's email address. They should only be sent by mail if you did not include your email address in the application.

in my case it didnt send thru my hubby's email nor snail mail.. We've just saw in our Ecas that Sponsorship got approved and says that decision will be sent thru physical address but we never got anything. I'd emailed CIC to confirmed the said result and then they re-send the SA letter to mu hubby stated that they've received our apps and got SA approved, same info showing on our ECAS

No the status shows "Decision Made", it WONT say SA was approved, the letter says you meet the conditions for sponsorship.

I understand where you coming from coz i experienced it the same way...actually its not literally says that its was approved on ECAS... it shows the same thing like yours that they will send the decision letter, but we never get one. So insteas of calling them coz my husband was not that time in canada i'd searched an email address where i can use to followup, i got this Question@cic.gc.ca, so i emailed and said everything that we never got anything from them with regards our apps then after 3 business days they'd replay and re-send the letter that what we supposed to received indicating that my hubby(sponsor) is eligible to sponsor and they will send our papers now to our VO here in Phil....
