Wow you guys for sure sent a lot ;) Our application was 751g and was roughly around 100-120 pages in total? We didn't actually count the pages. We had no idea what else to write ;) we will see if it is detailed enough for CIC ;)

my husband was the one who send the application. we used A4 size paper and it's around 400 pages. We actually didn't count the pages after all the sleepless nights just to finish the whole application especially on the proof of relationship documents... we send it via canada post and arung 1.5kg.
Ours weighed 3.5 kgs and we sent the application thru Canada Post. The pages are around 300 + because we sent a lot of photos and post-mailed letters. :P :P :P

I start to understand why processing takes so long ;) reading through all this information must take at least a few days per application.

Thank you! =D

Yes, they recieved it today. I'm planning on moving to Brantford, ON.

Just wondering.... And this may be a stupid question I have overlooked, but how do I find out our status? Will they mail us something? Do we apply via online? Or.... What?

My understanding was they email the address that was provided in the application.

how will you know if they receive the application? AOR or SA? or they will send a mail?

If you used courier like DHL, FedEX and Purolator or thru Canada Post, they all have their online tracking system. From there, you will be able to know if CPC-M already received your application including the date and who received the application. In our case, we used Canada Post and was able to track it and got the name of the person who received the package as well as the time and date.

AORs are usually given in 1-2 and are sent by CIC thru the Sponsor's email (if they were able to provide it in the form). There are cases that AORs are SAs are issued at the same time. SAs are sent on average of 2-6 weeks from the date CPC-M received the application.

There are instances also that CPC-M sent their SAs thru regular mail last June when the PAFSO strike was at its peak. :) ;) :) ;)

Hi Becki567! I've already added you to the spreadsheet.

Thank you for volunteering in maintaining the spreadsheet. Can you please PM me your email address(gmail account) so I can give you full access to the spreadsheet.

Good luck on your application! :) ;) :D

Oh I am sorry. I didn't realize I needed a gmail account. If no one else steps forward I will create one when I get home tonight

Most of our weight was probably 200 pages of text history between us and me and his mom to help show a genuine relationship. I am significantly older than him so we knew that would be a red flag and wanted to provide every evidence we could get our hands on

I see! That makes sense. Well all the best to you!

mrsalvaro why don't you just give everyone access to the spreadsheet. Works for the Vienna spreadsheet without problems so far ;)

For those wondering about their application once it's sent to CIC for sponsor assessment, my package got there a few days before AOR. I received AOR on September 14 and they actually stated they received it a day earlier than I had on tracking - September 5.

It sounds like you're all very prepared with your packages! I hope we'll be okay with our package - it didn't have any information regarding texts/phone bills. Just photos, contracts showing we lived together for three years, travel tickets/confirmation and letters from family. Hopefully they'll acknowledge it!

I actually thought of that when I was creating the spreadsheet, Unfortunately, it doesn't work quite well on Manila VO because there is someone messing up with the member's data.

Anyway, Becki567 has already volunteered in maintaining the spreadsheet for you guys, and I'd still help maintaining it. If you also want to be a collaborator, you can give me your email address (gmail account) so you can edit it as well.

Thanks for your kind suggestion MrSputnik! ;) ;) ;)

Don't worry. We haven't added much stuff either. If they need more documents they will ask for us to submit more detailed documents.
