Mine Medical results have been received before I got my SA :-)

hmmm...now im worried coz its been a month now since we got my Hubby's SA.. i dont know if its normal.. wen i did my med they base my info from the passport i presented with them which is my Maiden Name that time coz i havent renewed my passport then. A week after my med i renewed my passport to my Married Name already.. i submitted the photocopy of my old passport(maiden name) and new passport(married name) to CPC-M together with other apps.. do you think it matter?

maybe you'll be fine.... based sa mga nabasa ko yung iba IN process muna before medical received.,, so iba-iba. so nuthin to worry :-) meron naman di ba copy ng medical sabay sa mga papers mo for your application? so makikita nila yun.

Hi!
CSQ stands for Certificat de Sélection du Québec(Québec selection certificate), it's a provincial requirement for residents of Québec.

Interesting, did you have to do CSQ forms in addition to the federal immigration papers or does Quebec have a substitute for the federal forms?

Yes, federal immigration papers and the CSQ. Right after my sponsorship approval, they asked us to apply for the CSQ. :D

Hmm.. so you have CSQ approval now, does that mean your process is done?

Oh how I wish! I've basically just passed the first stage; the application papers are now in Manila for further processing.

Haha oh I see... So, CSQ is in addition to the Visa Office work, not a substitute.. Otherwise I was thinking I should have moved to Quebec before sponsoring my wife :D.

Yes, CSQ is not a substitute for all the applications that we have to fill up; if that's the case, I wouldn't be in this forum. Haha ;)

This thread is so quieeeeettttt!! Let's make some noise!!! ;D

Haha, I think most of all have our SA's now and are not going to be getting new news for a while.. There is not much news to report. Though I hope to get news sooner then later :)
